French Madeleines

Serves: 28 Pieces

Ingredients

  • Madeleine Mould recommended
  • 76g Caster Sugar
  • 91g Plain Flour
  • 5g Bakers Yeast
  • 75g Melted Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • Citron Zest (or other flavour eg; Chocolate, Orange Zest, etc.)

Directions

  • Pre-Heat Oven to 160 degrees
  • Mix Eggs, Sugar, Flour and Bakers Yeast in Bowl
  • Let sit for 30 mins
  • Add cooled melted butter
  • Grease Mould with Butter and Flour
  • Put mix in mould
  • Cook in over for 8 - 10 mins
  • Leave to cool, then serve
